Are You Ready for Grade 9 Math?
The transition from middle school to high school has a direct impact on s student's educational trajectory in mathematics due to the typically stratified nature of the courses to which students are assigned and the often strong performances focus of the teaching and learning that occurs. Proactive programming is crucial in assisting students with such challenging yet vital transition. It is important that students are properly placed into the math programs that are appropriate to their ability levels in order to a develop a strong foundation for future studies in math and math-related subjects.
To properly placed our Grade 9 students to the course level appropriate to their math readiness, a math diagnostic test will be taken place on September 8, 2014 for Day 1 classes and September 9, 2014 for Day 2 classes.
